About Fiona Timantti

Fiona Timantti is a Helsinki based master milliner, designer, costumer and stylist. She graduated from the School of Art and Design in 2002 and has since continued to advance her knowledge in the field of fashion, art and textiles. She is also a trained maker of costumes for stage and screen. She graduated as a master milliner in 2021.

Her work experience ranges from private clients to the big opera stages, circus and films and she has been teaching her craft since 2012.

Timantti started her own business in 2008 and to this day keeps focusing on her art and developing her skills as a craftswoman, in this profession she feels passionate about.

She is a member of the Finnish Milliners Quild.

Fiona Timantti is also known as a DJ, especially in the burlesque scene. She has been entertaining audiences since 2007 all around the country and abroad. 

Her taste in music is vast and she enjoys many genres from jazz to metal. 

Timantti can be seen playing for swing dancers at the cozy speakeasy or at an outdoor skating ring in the heart of winter but also big venues and prestige locations like the museum of modern art Kiasma and luxury hotels like Kämp and exclusive events like the official afterparty of the presidential independene day ball.

Fionas decades long love for vintage fashion has led her to work as a stylist in many different fields from music videos to intimate pin-up boudoir shoots. 

She is the style specialist and one of the founding members of the first neo pin-up studio in Finland, PinUpHelsinki (est.2010).

She also enjoys designing the sets and creating vintage style hairdos for the shoots.
